This manual is about creating a new pluggable database into an existing container database. The multi-tenant option introduced in Oracle Database 12c can be a single container database ( CDB) to create multiple separate pluggable databases ( PDB). In the Database Creation Assistant ( DBCA ) is a new option available. The ” Database Operation ‘ screen where the opportunity is offered to create pluggable databases from an existing container database.

Display
If you do not work directly from the console, you can start a terminal session to the server.
On the server, the display must be exported to the machine from where you will perform the installation.
